Honestly unlike anything I've ever seen from Koei) There's also a bunch of games outside of Steam: Voodoo Vince (Kinda like Psychonauts you play as a voodoo doll who hurts himself to hurt other enemies around you. Dropsy (point & click adventure game, but without dialogue colorful, happy, and surreal) Doom & Destiny, and Doom & Destiny Advanced High Strangeness (Someone already mentioned this, but I figured I'd mention it too since it's generally unknown) Small town, weird cults, a vulgar clown who hates his life, X-files references, all here) Thimbleweed Park (Point n' Click game in the style of old Lucasarts adventure games.

Creepy Castle (cute looking game in the style of an old 8-bit pc game) Two Brothers (got taken off of steam, but looked neat despite being very glitchy) Princess Remedy (look like they belong on the ZX Spectrum, but look fun anyway) OK K.O.: Let's Play Heroes (Based on the Cartoon Network Show RPG elements with a beat'em up battle system) Phantasy Star IV (Best Sega Genesis JRPG. Looks pretty high quality, but more Lufia, Breath of Fire, and Final Fantasy than EB) Shadows of Adam (homage to snes-rpgs of yore. A Hat in Time (lot's of Paper Mario influence here in a really awesome 3d platformer) Iconoclasts (metroidvania that just came out heard it had an emotional story and has awesome pixelart. Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom (More Link to the Past than Earthbound, but it's also Adventure Time, so it's quirky and off-beat. Came from the same great mind behind the Rayman games sort of like Psychonauts, which is why I recommend it) Beyond Good & Evil (More like a 3D zelda game, but weird nonetheless. Where They Cremate the Road Kill (Looks a bit like Middens and Gingiva)

OneShot (upgraded steam version to a free rpg maker adventure game. Dujanah (I have no idea what the hell is going on in this game, but looks great) you can change your gender to stupid ♥♥♥♥ too) Diaries of a Spaceport Janitor (you clean up trash at an alien spaceport. 2064: Read Only Memories (game in the style of Snatcher, but with a bunch of queer characters and representation. Boot Hill Heroes (Earthbound, but in the wild west) Got bored with it after like 5 or 8 hours) It was alright, but corners were cut in presentation, and it's also kinda glitchy. Citizens of Earth (I played this for a little while. Baobabs Mausoleum (episode 1 came out last spring and episode 2 is coming out later this month) Count Lucanor (Kinda looks more like a horror game, but gives me some EB/Mother vibes) Anachronox (Late 90s, early 2000s western rpg in the style of a jrpg) Cosmic Star Heroine (From the same developers of Breath of Death Sci-fi RPG in the style of Chrono Trigger- looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome) Costume Quest 1&2 (two adorable rpgs from Double Fine, same developer of psychonauts, where you go trick-or-treat-ing and fight monsters) Penny Arcade Adventures 1-4, Breath of Death VII, and Cthulhu Saves the Earth (don't know much about these either) Hylics (a monstrosity woven of clay and rpg maker) Cave Story (undertale but a metroidvania. Magic Wand (Created by the same guy who made Space Funeral and Goblet Grotto. Night in the Woods (I'd imagine most people have heard of this game, but a pretty quirky adventure game about a college dropout who came back home and has absolutely nothing to do except hang out with friends and solve mysteries around town) Saturday Morning RPG (don't know much about this one bought it on a whim during a summer sale)
Wuppo (not really like earthbound, but kind of like Paper Mario and Kirby) Yume Nikki (just got released to steam and there's a 3d remake coming out in a couple of weeks) There's even a level when you become a kaiju and wreck ♥♥♥♥ up- it's such a good game) Psychonauts (3D platformer with psychic kids where you go inside peoples' minds. Soma Spirits Rebalance (Really unknown RPG Maker game made by a forum goer on ) Suits: A Business RPG (kinda looks like OFF, but definitely much less serious than that game) System Goose Overload (kinda looks like undertale in a way, but I think it's a bit of a stealth game too?) Monster Garden (don't know much about this one, but it's an rpg maker game that looks pretty bizarre) Wizorb (Not like Earthbound in the slightest, but a mix between Breakout and RPGs that I'd figure some may enjoy) Why Am I Dead at Sea? (Art style very similar to Mother 3) I'm late to the party but I have a huge write-up of extra suggestions:
